Get help with access
If you have trouble reading a page, completing the interest form or using the signing interface, email info@lavacataxprotest.org. Include the page and the problem you encountered, and tell us how you prefer to be contacted. You do not need to disclose a disability or send confidential legal information.
For help reading or signing the legal documents, or to discuss another signing method, contact the Law Offices of Trent Nichols, PLLC at (361) 594-5004. If a filing deadline is approaching, call the firm directly. An accessibility request or website signup does not extend a legal deadline.
Features available here
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Text labels for form fields, text descriptions of errors and browser autofill support.
- Layouts that adapt to small screens and enlarged text.
- An optional text view of the signing PDF and a separate list of signing-field buttons.
- Typed signatures, so drawing with a mouse or touchscreen is not required.
- Access to the site without accepting optional analytics.
Our review and remaining limitations
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a technical review target. Automated checks are only part of that work and do not establish full conformance. We continue to review keyboard use, reading order, contrast and forms.
Some source documents and downloadable PDFs may not have complete accessibility tags or an ideal reading order. The signing page offers extracted text, but it may not preserve every table or visual relationship. Contact the firm if any part of a legal document is unclear or inaccessible before you sign. We are not claiming that every document or assistive-technology combination has been independently certified.
